BodyTrax drops it’s second EP of 2016 with another fine 3-tracker from Bodyjack; mastered by Alden Tyrell and out via Clone.
“Laugh It Up” opens things up and we are in vintage Bodyjack territory from the outset. Rough (and we mean rough!) beats and percussion, vocal hook and a metallic riff combined with possibly his ugliest bassline to date to make this an essential addition the bag/crate of any house DJ.
“Slow Clap” strips things right down to just drums and bass taking the A1 even more rawness. File under “Warehouse”.
The title track “I’m Here All Week” on the flip is one of those simple-but-infectious house tracks that you’re going to remember after a night out. Once again, our man’s synth n’ bass work duck around those sharply programmed beats he's known for to round off the EP with a bang.
Fans of Bodyjack won’t be disappointed with this one!
